Microcrispies are very finely cut crisps smaller than ca. 3 mm. They are often used as decoration on snack items and as a crispy filler. Cereal raw materials in the form of semolina and flour as well as protein-containing additives such as protein powders, fibers, vegetable or fruit powder are often used to produce them.
